1. "Spring Night"

Su Shi of the Song Dynasty

A moment of a spring night is worth a thousand gold, the flowers are fragrant and the moon is cloudy.

The sound of the singing tube is soft on the balcony, and the night is dark in the swing courtyard.

Translation:

Spring nights, even a very short time are very precious. The flowers exude a delicate fragrance, and the moonlight casts hazy shadows under the flowers. Deep in the balcony, wealthy people are still singing and dancing, and the gentle singing and wind music are still diffused in the intoxicating night. The night was already very late, and the courtyard with the swing was already silent.

2. "Evening View of the Spring River in Huichong"

Su Shi of the Song Dynasty

Three or two branches of peach blossoms outside the bamboo are a prophet of the warmth of the spring river.

The ground is full of mugwort and reed buds are short, which is when puffer fish are about to come.

Translation:

Two or three peach blossoms are blooming outside the bamboo forest, and ducks are playing in the water. They are the first to notice the warming of the river in early spring. The river beach is already full of mugwort, the reeds are beginning to sprout, and the pufferfish are about to swim upstream from the sea to the river.

3. "Butterfly Love Flower·Spring Scene"

Song Dynasty Su Shi

The flowers have faded to red, green and small apricots. When swallows fly, green water surrounds people. There are few willow trees blowing on the branches. There is no grass anywhere in the world.

The swing inside the wall and the road outside the wall. Pedestrians outside the wall, beautiful women inside the wall smile. The laughter gradually disappeared and became quieter. Passionate but annoyed by ruthlessness.

Translation:

The apricot flowers have not yet faded, and the branches are beginning to bear green apricots. Swallows fly across the sky, and clear rivers surround village homes. The catkins on the willow branches have been blown away less and less, but don't worry, lush grass can be seen everywhere. Inside the wall, a girl is playing on a swing, which can be heard by passers-by outside the wall. The girl let out a beautiful laugh, and slowly, the laughter inside the wall was no longer heard, as if her passionate self was hurt by the ruthless girl.

4. "Wang Jiangnan·Transcendent Stage Work"

Su Shi of the Song Dynasty

The spring is not old yet, the wind is gentle and the willows are slanting. Try to look up from the transcendent platform, half a ditch of spring water and a city full of flowers. Thousands of homes are covered in mist and rain.

After eating cold food, I will wake up and sigh. Stop thinking about old friends and homeland, and try new tea with new fire. Poetry and wine take advantage of the youth.

Translation:

Spring has not passed yet, the breeze is gentle, and the willow branches are dancing diagonally. Climb up to the Chaoran Terrace and look out from afar. The moat is only half full with spring water flickering slightly. Inside the city are colorful spring flowers blooming. Further away, every tile-roofed house is in the shadow of rain. After the Cold Food Festival, I sobered up and sighed because of homesickness, so I had to comfort myself. Don't miss your hometown in front of old friends. Let's light a new fire to brew a cup of freshly picked tea. You should write poems and get drunk while your youth is still there.

5. "Reduced Words Mulanhua·Yingchu's Interpretation of Yu"

Song Dynasty·Su Shi

Yingchu's Interpretation of Yu. The most important thing is spring. The light rain is like crisp. The color of grass looks far away but is not there up close.

Excuse me and get drunk. If the flowers don't bloom, people will grow old easily. Don’t wait for spring to come back. Reversing the green moss among the red flowers.

Translation:

The oriole begins to cry. This early spring is the best season of the year; the drizzle is as precious as oil, nourishing the grass and trees, the spring grass that has just grown. , a patch of green appears from afar, but seems to have disappeared when viewed up close.

Don’t refuse to be drunk in this season. If there are flowers and you don’t see them blooming, it means that your life will disappear quickly. Don't wait for spring to leave nature, with falling flowers mixed with green moss.
