Poetic chronicle of mankind
Jiang Shiquan, a famous poet and dramatist in Qing Dynasty, was depressed because of the imperial examination. His mother is a sensible and virtuous woman. She is good at poetry and writing. She comforted and encouraged her son with the poem "When she was born, she used a bow made of mulberry branches to shoot four arrows made of Cao Peng to the southeast and northwest according to the ancient custom." The main idea of the poem is: "when I gave birth to you, I never asked you to study for fame."
