Appreciation of Fang Feng's poem Crying for Lu Xiufu

If you are young, you will become very powerful.

Obey boat China, Longhu underwater day.

It's too late, and Shu has been in Han for many years.

Unique jiao, long hanging by the sea.

-Fang Feng

In the spring of the second year of Deyou (1276), Lu Xiufu and Zhang Shijie, who served as assistant ministers in the Ministry of Ritual, successively made Zhao Min and Zhao Min, two illegitimate children of Du Zong, emperors, and they continued to fight Yuan for three years from Wenzhou Prefecture, and finally retired to the mountains in the south of Xinhui, Guangdong Province. In February of the second year of Xiangxing (1279), Yuan took Zhang Hongfan to Haikou, lost the road and stormed the mountain. Zhang Shijie was caught between Scylla and Charybdis, defeated by the emperor on the ship, and lost the cable and seized the port. "Xiufu could not escape, but his wife was driven into the sea with sticks and swords, that is, the king died in the sea at the age of 44." Lu Xiufu faced Qiang Bing, endured the crisis, died alone and died heroically. The title of this poem is "Crying for Lu Xiufu". As a adherent of the Southern Song Dynasty, the author can imagine his sadness.

The "you" in the first sentence refers to the unification of the throne and the country; At that time, after thanking Emperor Gong, the country had fallen and the Song Dynasty was overthrown. The poet couldn't bear to call it "national subjugation", so he said "modesty". In the author's opinion, Lu Xiufu's adoption of young master Song Zuoyou at a critical moment is a commendable feat in itself. There is a "square" in the sentence, which strengthens the praise of "only loving the young" and hides a trace of helplessness. The second sentence is a supplement to the first sentence. "Potential pole" means that the situation is critical. Extreme, tired. "Dian Dian" refers to the exiled regime scattered in the southeast coast. "The potential is extremely strong, but it is also a sad praise, but it further complements the distress of" only raising young children ",which shows Lu Xiufu's valuable character. In these two sentences, historical deeds are omitted, but Lu Xiufu's integrity spirit is obviously refined. Gong Kai's comments on "human feelings are indifferent" and "heaven and earth are not ancient and modern" mean that his poems are not limited to the gains and losses of events, but focus on writing a kind of righteousness between heaven and earth. You can see this feature here.

In the two sentences of Zhuan Xu, two allusions are used to connect the facts to praise the regime of Zhao Min and Lu Xiufu's throwing himself into the sea. Zhao Min moved from Jinzhou to Lushan and lived on a boat. He was on board when Zhang Shijie confronted Zhang Hongfan. The Zhao Min regime did not live on a ship, but lived on a ship for one day, and the Song Dynasty did not die for one day, so it was called "Ship China"; "Obey" refers to the sea. See the word "Aobei" in Volume 25 of Jade: "It is said that one day God Aobei, with Penglai Mountain on his back, was in the sea." Also, Volume 38 of "Taiping Magnolia" quoted "Xuanzhong Ji": "Those in the southeast are giant; In order to carry Penglai Mountain, I will go back thousands of miles in a week. " The fourth sentence is written by Lu Xiufu carrying eight-year-old Zhao Min into the water to be martyred, so he followed the son of heaven Lapras to heaven; But the splashing water is true, and the sky is empty, so we have to say "underwater sky". The "dragon and tiger" here uses the allusion of Xuanyuan, the Yellow Emperor: "The Yellow Emperor took the copper from the first mountain and cast a tripod at the foot of Jingshan Mountain. When the tripod was finished, a dragon lowered its beard to welcome the Yellow Emperor. The Yellow Emperor rode on, and there were more than 70 people in the harem, with dragons on it. " (See Historical Records of Guan Chan) It is also said that when Lu Xiufu and others established Zhao Min in Zhou, Huanglong was discovered at sea. The poet painstakingly combined these ancient and modern legends and extracted a meaningful sentence-"Dragon and Tiger under the water", which made the ending of Lu Xiufu's throwing into the sea not only tragic but also sublime.

Necklace is also two allusions. After the death of King Bin Zhou, the last monarch of the Zhou Dynasty, although the two imperial clan regimes of the Western Zhou Dynasty and the Eastern Zhou Dynasty continued to exist, the Zhou Dynasty had declined, and the Eastern Zhou Dynasty, which was sealed in Gong (now Gongxian County, Henan Province), was finally destroyed by Qin after more than 30 years. The so-called "Gong is late" refers to this. In the twenty-fifth year of Jian 'an (220), Cao Pi abolished Liu Xie and proclaimed himself emperor, and Han died. In the second year, Liu Bei, who claimed to be Zhongshan, was named "Shu Han" after Zuo Jianyuan's Zhang Wu and Bill Han's name. Forty-three years later, he died in Wei. The so-called "Shu Han has no years" refers to this. Fang Fengju's weekend and the continuation of the imperial clan regime in the late Han Dynasty ended briefly because of the general trend. It was just that the Zhao Min regime, which was also an imperial clan, was powerless and was finally destroyed. This fact was euphemistically expressed by Gu Yan in Infinite Sigh. The Song Dynasty did perish, but Lu Xiufu, a loyal martyr, was still alive, but suffered a glorious failure. So the last two sentences say: Only this beautiful heart, with the red sun hanging high on the sea, will shine forever for generations!
