The "Dongyang" in this poem refers to today's Dongyang County, Zhejiang Province. Judging from the title, the poem was written on the way to Dongyang in the fifth year of Chunxi (1178) when the author was serving as Shaoqing of Dali in Lin'an, Kyoto. Judging from the content and mood of the work, it is filled with joyful emotions, which is rare in Xin's poetry. From this point of view, this poem is a lyrical work describing the scenery, which is poetic and colorful: there are green mountains, delicate flowers, pedestrians, rushing horses, flags and small bridges, presenting a vibrant scene. After reading this work, it is like going on a spring trip with the poet, which is refreshing. The first two sentences indicate the location. The whereabouts of the poet were explained. It describes the poet and his party leaving Lin'an, the capital, and heading to Dongyang in a carriage. "Xiang camp" is a smoke cage. "Shui Shen" is a kind of spice, namely agarwood. "The incense camp gradually sinks and disappears" refers to the long journey time by using the fragrance in the incense cage to gradually burn out, thereby implying the distance of the journey. The two sentences before and after complement each other and correspond to each other. Three or four sentences, using a joyful and lyrical tone, describe the particularly lovely green mountain peaks and blooming flowers. This is what the poet saw when he raised his eyes. He did not intend to capture it, but he vividly described the natural scenery in early spring outside the city. The brushwork is natural, not pretentious, and has the wonderful effect of "clear water brings out hibiscus, and natural carvings are removed". "The mountains are not heavy and the surroundings are green" is derived from Liu Yuxi's poem "The mountains surround the motherland and the surroundings are there" ("Stone City"). "Mountains are countless", they are overlapping peaks. The third sentence means that the surrounding mountains are lush and lovely green. "Unknown flowers are especially delicate." It means that unknown wild flowers in the wild are especially delicate. The poet said in another poem: "The peaches and plums in the city are worried about the wind and rain, and the spring is in the shepherd's purse flowers at the head of the stream." ("Partridge Sky·Dairen Fu") It can be seen that the poet likes natural beauty and does not like artificiality. The poet's aesthetics and taste are revealed here. The upper column describes natural scenery, and the lower column describes life scenes. Its writing style becomes more melodious and the picture becomes more vivid and vivid. "The people are coming, the horses are rustling, and the flags are crossing the Xiaohong Bridge again", describing the scene of the poet and his party urging the horses and whipping, marching towards Dongyang. The two sentences "people are in full swing and horses are in a hurry" use two pairs of overlapping words, which greatly enhances the vividness and charm of the lyrics. "Ren Li Li" describes a group of people walking on the road, which is vivid in the mind. "Ma Xiaoxiao" refers to the sound of a horse neighing. The sentence "The flag crossed the Xiaohong Bridge again" describes a moving scene. The poet and his party carried the banner and made a grand and eye-catching journey. The last two lyrical lines show that the poet was extremely excited and joyful, so he recited the poem and rushed towards Dongyang at the same time. Among the green mountains and green waters, the sound of chanting and whipping all the way is really fascinating. It can be imagined from this. The poet must be very happy during this trip, otherwise, how could he be like this? The word "choubian" is used here, which is different from the word "choubian" in the poet's other song "Ugly Slave", "all the endless things of the past and present are placed on the side of sorrow, on the side of sorrow". "There is a sentence of lovesickness left behind when I am sad", which is a sentence that the poet is thinking about and reciting. Obviously, the so-called "sorrow" here does not mean to be sad, but to think. "Love" generally refers to missing the one you love. Here it means thinking about beautiful words. "Shake off the jasper tip of the chanting whip" is written even more vividly, vividly reproducing the poet's proud expression of raising his whip and chanting, and moving forward quickly. "Jasper tip" means that the riding whip is decorated with jasper gemstones, which is a metaphor for the luxury of the riding whip and adds to the beauty of the word.
On the whole, the picture of this poem is beautiful, the artistic conception is broad, the natural scenery and the life picture are closely combined, the still scene and the dynamic scene are integrated, which is pleasing to the eye and endlessly interesting
