Brief introduction of Xu Youzhen in Ming Dynasty

Xu Youzhen was a scholar, minister and calligrapher of Ming Dynasty in China.

(1407 to 1472), formerly known as Kun, Ziyu, from Wuxian. In the eighth year of Xuande (1433), he was selected as a scholar and awarded editing. Twelve years of orthodoxy (1447), attending classes. The "rebellion" also led the Walla army to approach Beijing first, moved south, and scolded Yu Qian and others. Jingtai changed its name to be true at the beginning. Later, due to the restoration of English sects, he was awarded the title of Kong Fubo, and he was also a university student in Gai Hua Hall. He was issued a patent certificate, with the best position and power for a time. After being framed by Shi Heng and Cao Jixiang, he was removed from the punishment.

Constant defeat, released to the field, dissipated in the mountains and rivers, and died for more than ten years. In the Ming Dynasty, Zhang commented on You Zhen in Ming History: "Short and pithy, knowledgeable and well-known. All books such as astronomy, geography, art of war, water conservancy, and yin and yang are well studied. " Good calligraphy is famous between Huai Su and Mi Fei, which has a certain influence on the calligraphy of Wen Zhiming and Zhu Yunming.

Xu Youzhen's main achievements:

1. Achievements: Xu Youzhen was a scholar of Guichou Department in the eighth year of Xuande (1433), and was elected as Jishi Shu and entered imperial academy with the first place. At the end of Jingtai, he participated in planning the change of seizing the door, which contributed to the successful restoration of Ming Yingzong, and thus became the cabinet record, and also won the title of Gong Fubo.

2. Achievements in water conservancy: After several years of hard work, Xu Youzhen finally calmed the flood of Shawan River. His three strategies for river regulation adopted the methods of dredging, blocking and dredging at the same time, namely, diverting the Yellow River into the river, blocking the breach of Shawan and dredging the canal. Among them, diverting water from the Yellow River into the river is the most important part of the river regulation scheme, which not only solves the problem of the breach of the Yellow River, but also solves the problem of poor water delivery capacity and obstruction of navigation.
