Source: Altair

Original poem:

Distant Altair, Jiao Jiao Hehan girl.

Skillful hands, make a loom.

Tears fall like rain all day long;

The river is clear and shallow, how much is the difference!

Between water and water, there are no words.

Translation:

Look at the distant Altair, the bright Vega. The weaver (Weaver Girl) stretched out her slender white hand, fiddled with the loom (weaving) and made a firm knitting sound. I didn't knit a piece of cloth all day, and tears rained down. The Milky Way looks clear and shallow, not far from each other. Although there is only a clear river, they can only stare with emotion, but they can't talk in words.

Extended data:

Far Morning Altar describes the lovesickness of the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl, but its main length is centered on the Weaver Girl, describing its beauty, lovesickness and sadness, touching and tortuous, vivid and sensible. The work is not based on the scenery, but the feelings are born from the scenery, which is really touching. At the same time, it should be noted that the narrative and lyricism of the works are completed by the third party, that is, the poet, and the change of its perspective is the clue of the narrative and lyricism of the works.

The Distant Altair is in the style of Leng Yan. The stars (the sky), the Tianhe River, the plain hand, the loom and the water are relatively cold images, which also laid the emotional tone for the work. There are ten * * * sentences in the whole poem, six of which use overlapping words, and all of them are used at the beginning of the sentence, which is meticulous, accurate and vivid, making this work have a distinct sense of rhythm and outstanding musical beauty.
