Xue Tao did not live in today's Wangjiang Park before his death, but was buried on the Jinjiang River outside the East Gate of Chengdu after his death. Wangjiang Park has her mound, which is 6m high and10m in circumference. In the Ming Dynasty, Chunzhu, King of Shu, built a workshop in Wangjiang Park to commemorate Xue Tao and copy Xue Tao stationery. Because the well water is filtered by the sandy layer, it is sweet and crisp, and the number of papers made is top grade. During the reign of Emperor Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty, a stone tablet named "Xue Taojing" was engraved beside the well. From then on, people thought that Xue Tao's hometown was in Wangjiang Park today.

Wangjiang Park is located on the Jinjiang River of Jiuyanqiao in Chengdu. According to legend, Xue Tao, a poetess in the Tang Dynasty, once drew water from a well and wrote poems in calligraphy, leaving many touching poems. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, there were worship tower, Jinzhuolou, Huanjian Pavilion, Wuyunxian Pavilion, Liubeichi and Quanxiangxie.
