Jiuhuangshan Mountain is located in the transitional zone between Jiangyou, Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and Sichuan Basin, where people live. The highest peak of Jiuhuangshan Mountain is more than 2800 meters above sea level. The Ape King Cave and the Style Garden are the main attractions of Jiuhuangshan Scenic Area.
It's more than 70 kilometers from Chengdu to Jiuhuangshan/KLOC-0, and it takes three hours to drive to the foot of Jiuhuangshan. Looking up, the mountain in front of Jiuhuang Mountain is like a knife, and a cliff more than a thousand meters high is coming, which makes people sweat. The majestic beauty of Jiuhuangshan Mountain is amazing, which makes people admire this masterpiece of nature.
We will take the cable car 1000 meters to the dangerous mountain hotel. The cable car is semi-enclosed, with two people in each box. As the hanging box rose higher and higher, the car at the foot of the mountain became a small beetle. The winding Guixi River in the valley, like a ribbon, is crystal clear.
After arriving at Panshan Hotel, we took a short rest, and then went to the most famous scenic spot of Jiuhuangshan Mountain-Ape King Cave. The Ape King Cave belongs to karst scenery, which is formed by the erosion of rock strata by underground rivers and the uplift of the crust. Of course, this process will take millions, tens or even hundreds of millions of years. There are many stalactites in the Ape King Cave. Those stones hanging at the top of the cave and standing at the bottom of the cave, like bells, are called stalactites. When many stalactites grow together, a peculiar stalactite spectacle is formed. Some of these stalactites are like kittens, and some are like grandpa's beard. In the Ape King Cave, the most striking thing is a huge stone like a pagoda. It is piled up layer by layer from the bottom to the top of the cave, and each layer is composed of countless small stone pillars, which flow from one step to the next, like a magnificent waterfall. Under the illumination of colored lights, the Ape King Cave is simply a fairy tale world.
In Jiuhuangshan National Customs Garden, what impressed me the most was the watchtower, which stood on the top of the mountain like a giant, condensing the long history and splendid culture of the Qiang people, guarding the village and people's happiness and peace.
The magnificence of Jiuhuangshan Mountain is the ingenious work of nature and the crystallization of the wisdom of hardworking and brave people.
