In ancient times, the original meaning of "Ge" was a curved weapon. Here generally refers to weapons (that is, "Ge" and "Wu"). By extension, it is to take good weapons and prepare for war. The "martial arts" of stopping martial arts by war also refers to war, but it usually refers to the war of aggression launched by the enemy against us. Therefore, stopping the use of force (or stopping the use of force) means that only by holding the weapons (in our hands) and being ready at all times can we effectively curb the enemy's attempt to wage war (aggression) against us.
PS: In other words, be prepared for danger in times of peace, always be vigilant and be prepared.
