What contribution did Soochow make?

Politically, Wu Dong is similar to the Eastern Han Dynasty, where the county system is still implemented, and so is the central government. The only difference is that Wu Dong is mainly influenced by local tycoons south of the Yangtze River. Just the courtiers in the court, many people have physical surnames, such as Gu Yong of Gu, Huan Zhu of Zhu, Lu Xun of Lu, Zhang Wen of Zhang, etc., which were later called surnames.

Dongwu's army is dominated by sailors, followed by infantry. Sun Wu's navy is developed, with naval bases and shipyards. This warship named Chang 'an can carry more than 1000 soldiers. Its elite troops include Tiger Soldiers under the Car, Danyang Blue Scarf Army and Yizhou Warriors. There are also mountain Vietnamese soldiers, barbarian soldiers, foreign soldiers and other ethnic minority troops.

Wu Dong's economy has developed remarkably. At that time, because of the war, the northerners went south, and the Shanyue people accepted Sun Quan's appeasement and moved from the mountainous area to the flat, which increased the labor force of Soochow. There are wasteland on both sides of the Yangtze River, among which the wasteland for piling is Changzhou, Zhenjiang and Wuxi.

Silk weaving began to rise in Jiangnan, but the weaving technology was not high, and Shu brocade became an important input material. Copper and iron smelting and casting inherited the scale of the Eastern Han Dynasty and developed regularly, and celadon industry also matured on the basis of glazed pottery manufacturing in the Eastern Han Dynasty.

After "Battle of Red Cliffs", the situation of "three pillars" was partially unified, deadlocked and actively developed in Wei, Shu and Wu regions, and was unified throughout the country in the Western Jin Dynasty.
