Baotu Spring, known as the "first spring", first appeared in Yan Bi's poem "The water in front of the thirsty horse cliff is full of Sichuan, and the river spring is full of pearls". The seventy springs in Jinan are called the first springs, all of which are milk, milk and water. Later, it was also said that Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty drank Baotu spring water when he was on his southern tour through Jinan. He felt that this water was sweeter and more refreshing than Yuquan water, the first spring in the world, so he named Baotu Spring as the first spring in the world and wrote an article "Journey to Baotu Spring", which was an inscription for Baotu Spring's "Turbulence".
The drinking water of the imperial palace in the Qing Dynasty was taken from Yuquan. Every morning, a water tanker brought water from Xizhimen into the city with a dragon flag in it, so Xizhimen in Beijing was called the "Watergate". Baotu Spring is located in Jinan, Shandong Province. In the Ming Dynasty, Guanlan Pavilion was built beside the spring, a stone tablet was erected, and Guanlan and the first spring were carved.
