The year before Zhao Yun's death, that is, in the sixth year of Lite Xing (228), Zhao Yun also led an army to participate in Zhuge Liang's Northern Expedition, participated in the Battle of Ji Gu, and killed the enemy on the battlefield with fewer enemies and more enemies. Unexpectedly, he died of illness the next year. Zhao Yun was the last of Liu Bei's Five Tiger Generals to die.
