Summary of community hope home work

Take measures to care for left-behind children.

Our school is located in Shenshuidong Village, Chengnan Sub-district Office, Lianjiang City. It is a school in the fringe of urban and rural areas, with 395 students and 3/kloc-0 teachers, including 94 left-behind children and half left-behind children 120. With the increase of migrant farmers, the special group of "left-behind children" is also increasing. Under the leadership of the Communist Youth League Committee, the Provincial Youth Federation, the Provincial Working Committee and the competent departments at all levels, and under the cordial care of Secretary Chen Dong of the Communist Youth League Committee, Enfei Hope Home, one of the first hope homes for caring for left-behind children in Guangdong Province, was formally established last June 1. Over the past year, with the efforts of teachers and students in our school, the work of caring for left-behind children has received strong support and help from all walks of life. Schools, families and society have taken a three-pronged approach to help "left-behind children" solve practical difficulties and problems in their study and life and promote their healthy growth. A series of activities have been carried out and good results have been achieved.

1, establish and improve the leadership responsibility system.

First of all, we set up a leading group for caring for left-behind children, which consists of school leaders, middle-level cadres, class teachers and subject teachers. The headmaster personally takes the lead, clarifies the job responsibilities, formulates specific work plans, and gradually institutionalizes, standardizes and regularizes the care work. Strengthen the unified leadership and management of left-behind children to ensure that all work requirements are fully and conscientiously implemented.

2. Implement the system of pairing teachers and students to help left-behind children.

Paired teachers and students often talk with left-behind children, keep abreast of their ideological trends, visit them regularly, care about their lives, guide and help them learn, and guide them to grow up healthily. Establish a diary of the growth of teachers and students who care for the left-behind children, so that the left-behind children can grow up in the collective of teachers and classmates, make up for the lack of family education, and let them get out of loneliness and depression. We require every counselor to take good care of every left-behind child and implement "three priorities": first, give priority to counseling in study; Second, give priority to life; The third is to give priority to activities so that left-behind children can experience the ubiquitous care of teachers at any time. Often carry out the "five ones" activities: every left-behind child does at least one housework within his power every day and keeps a diary; Every Monday, every left-behind child is required to read at least one good book every month; Every month, every left-behind child calls his parents once a week; In each appraisal, the school selects the model of "self-improvement and good youth" every semester; Celebrate every year and celebrate every left-behind child's birthday every year.

3. Vigorously publicize and mobilize social forces to care for left-behind children.

4. Establish a system of files and contact cards for left-behind children.

Our school conducted a serious investigation and study on all left-behind children, found out the base number of left-behind children, and established the file and contact card of each left-behind child. Through the establishment of contact card system, the school has strengthened the contact with parents and other guardians of students, and formed a caring network centered on left-behind children.

5. Actively carry out cultural and sports activities.

One is to carry out interest group activities. Interest groups such as table tennis, basketball, calligraphy, art, music and chess have been set up to organize various cultural and sports activities to enrich the after-school life of left-behind children. The second is to carry out various thematic activities. For example, traditional cultural and educational activities such as "walking with classics and being friends with sages" are carried out, and thanksgiving education activities are carried out in the form of letters and singing on holidays. For example, on Father's Day and Mother's Day, a letter contest called "Mom and Dad, I want to tell you" was held. Use the National Day to carry out singing competitions, sing about the motherland and the party.

6. Arrange free medical examination regularly.

For the healthy growth of "left-behind children", our school regularly arranges free physical examinations for them and conducts comprehensive physical examinations to keep abreast of their physical development and health status. Early detection and timely treatment of diseases. Completely eliminate the hidden dangers of their dropping out of school due to illness and poverty caused by illness. Physical examination will be conducted on April 20 this semester.

7. Establish and improve the inspection and assessment mechanism.

In order to strengthen the effectiveness and long-term of this work, the school tracked the pairing process between teachers and students and evaluated the results. The school actively studies scientific evaluation methods, strengthens the education and governance of left-behind children, establishes and improves the work evaluation system, and regularly evaluates teachers, rewarding the excellent and punishing the poor as an important basis for performance pay.

8. Create a good educational environment.

Strengthen exchanges and communication with parents or guardians of left-behind children; Strengthen financial support for poor left-behind children; Establish a caring experience exchange system; Hold seminars and symposiums from time to time to exchange experiences; Constantly explore new methods and measures; Continuously improve the education level of left-behind children.

However, as a current social problem, left-behind children also have many problems in school implementation. Schools in poor mountainous areas, like families in poor mountainous areas, can't get rid of the regional color-poverty. In the process of carrying out the work, the big family of the school can't afford the expenses, and the lack of funds greatly restricts the progress and quality of the "Love Project". Sometimes the school really wants to but can't do anything about it.

In short, we have done a lot of work in caring for left-behind children, and achieved good results, exercised their will, cultivated a tough and independent personality, formed a sound personality, and promoted their healthy and vigorous growth. However, to do this work well, we need the care, love and attention of the whole society. In the future, we should strive to explore ways to promote the healthy development of left-behind students, so that left-behind students can enjoy the same education and care as other students, and make new contributions to building a happy and harmonious Guangdong.
