The temple culture of Huilong Temple

In ancient times, the Zen Temple was known as one of the eight famous temples in Yunyang Prefecture in northwest Hubei. It is also recorded in the Japanese Buddhist Temple Book that the temple was built on a hill shaped like a coiled dragon and a crouching tiger. There are two clear temples next to the temple. The well at the bottom looks like a dragon's eyes. Because the Majia River flows in a circuitous way in front of the temple, just like a dragon swimming back, it is named "Huilong Temple". Also known as "Huilong Temple". The temple is divided into three halls: front, middle and back, with 42 left and right wing rooms, and a construction area of ??1094 square meters. The architectural style of this temple is elegant and simple.

There are small and exquisite Taishan Temple and Niangniang Temple on the left and right in front of the temple, as well as the Ming Dynasty building "Zhao Bei Pagoda" facing the temple, forming a beautiful view of "Tawan Sunset". Later, they were destroyed during the Cultural Revolution. Now only one tower top is left and is stored in the current temple.

In front of the middle hall stands a stone tablet titled "Reconstruction of Huilong Temple" written by Liu Ji, the prefect of Yunyang in the Ming Dynasty. The calligraphy and stone inscriptions are unique. Among them, the tall and solemn Buddha statue was smashed to pieces during the Cultural Revolution and dumped into Majia River, which is surrounded by water in this bay. Eight lifelike golden statues of Bodhisattvas of different shapes are displayed in the apse. The pavilions are painted with large murals with delicate brushstrokes and bright colors. They have gone through the vicissitudes of time and have mostly faded. However, the lines of the murals are plump and smooth, and the style of the past can be vaguely seen. These wonderful murals are full of Zen-like charm and allusions to Buddhist scriptures, which are thought-provoking. Looking at the murals, one can sigh that the charm of ancient painting art still shines today. Now, the area in the front courtyard of the temple is smaller, and Maitreya Buddha is enshrined in the middle.

The area around Gaoliuhe in Yangchun was the place where Lady Jie Xian (Xian Ying), a female from Gaoliang, stationed troops and practiced martial arts. She made outstanding contributions in the process of unifying the country in the Sui Dynasty and won the respect of the world. The local people built a temple and statue on the bank of Gaoliu River to commemorate her. The splendid palace reflects the sky, and has been praised throughout the ages.

The meditation hall is quiet with exotic flowers and herbs, and the sunset is red next to the water and the mountains.

Incense is burning in front of the armored statue, and all the people worship and look up to the high wind.

Huanxisha · Thoughts after reading Chen Geng's poems

In Chen Geng's "Yong Yu Le·Send Ma Ping to All Comrades", there is a line: "Ask you, do you ever remember returning home on a snowy night?" "Returning on a snowy night" was the codename of the leader of the armed work team during the guerrilla war. I was deeply moved by this reading and felt this way.

The years are new in the southern sky, and there are frequent visits in the green gauze tent. Swing your sword and ride your horse to sweep away the demonic atmosphere. Fortunately, with the guidance of the red flag leader, I dare to sacrifice my blood and youth. Remembering returning home on a snowy night.

The natural chasm is too strong for a horse to cross south, and there is only luxuriant grass in the south of the Yangtze River.
