Huazigang, Pei Di
The sun is setting, the breeze is blowing, and the grass is exposed at home.
Cloud light invades shoes, and mountain green clothes brush people's clothes.
Pei Di is one of the main poets of the pastoral school in the prosperous Tang Dynasty. He lived in seclusion in Zhong Nanshan in his early years and made friends with Wang Wei and Cui Xingzong. After Wang, he became a frequent visitor. "The water edge is surrounded by a shed, so I don't go to the bamboo garden, communicate with Taoist friends and monks, and play the piano and recite poems all day long" (Biography of Wang Wei in Old Tang Dynasty). The host and guest recited twenty scenes of Wangchuan, each of which became twenty quatrains. This is the famous Wangchuan Collection. Huazigang is one of them.
Wang Wei once described their feelings about Huazigang as follows: "Climbing Huazigang at night, the water edge falls, the moon rises and falls, the cold mountain is far away from the fire, the forest is extinct, the dogs in the deep lanes bark like leopards, the village market attacks at night, and the bells are alternately scattered. Sitting alone at this time, the servant was silent. Think more about the past, work together to write poems, step by step, and Linqing Pool. " (The Mountain and Pei Xiucai's Book of the Earth) This poem by Pei Di describes the scenery of Huazigang on this autumn night.
As the sun sets, the wind is blowing, and the poet is wandering on the mountain road home. Based on the clue of returning home, the whole poem shows readers a vivid, dynamic and quiet artistic picture through the poet's unique feelings about what he has seen and heard. In the first sentence, the corresponding verbs "falling" and "rising" clearly outline the dusk scenery when the sun sets in the west and the evening wind rises at the beginning. People can see that after the sunset is quietly hidden in the mountains, the breeze gently passes through the pine forest. The second sentence is closely related to the previous one. On a crisp autumn day, the sun is shining and the breeze is Xu Lai. The dew on the roadside grass has already evaporated, so it is called "grass dew". The last two sentences are clouds and mountains. Cloud light refers to the afterglow of sunset in the evening, with green mountains and green waters, which is called Cui Wei. Here, the poet also used two verbs-"invasion" and "strike", which meant infection and vividly described the vivid scene of the poet being laid off in the sunset. The phrase "Mountain Cuifu touches people's clothes" implicitly changes the relationship between subject and object, endows Twilight Mountain with initiative and enhances the dynamic nature of the scenery. Clouds and mountains chase the poet's footsteps, blowing the poet's skirt, and setting off the poet's love and nostalgia for Huazigang scenery from the opposite side.
There are only twenty crosses, which reflect the poet's unique feelings in the ordinary mountain scenery. The pen and ink are sparse and have far-reaching implications. The predecessors talked about Wang and Pei Wangchuan's singing in harmony, saying that "when God meets the situation, the situation is obvious from the language, and his ambition and language are all practiced from meditation, but his intention, spirit and rhyme are absolutely unique" ("Selected Comments on Ten Thousand Poems of Tang Poetry in Wang Shizhen").
