There are three systems for the calligraphy grade examination. It is a Chinese calligraphy and painting grade examination calligraphy examination sponsored by the Beijing Educational Examination Authority and approved by the Ministry of Education. It is a calligraphy proficiency examination sponsored by the Art Development Center of the Ministry of Culture and approved by the Ministry of Culture. It is a social calligraphy proficiency examination sponsored by the Calligraphers Association and approved by the Ministry of Culture.
