According to the generation of Zhu Baotang’s son Zhu Deyuan, due to the war, he was forced to end the copper business and moved his family to Hangzhou. After liberation, public-private partnership was established, copper materials were restricted, and ancestral craftsmanship still failed to be continued. Zhu Deyuan began to specialize in copper art and calligraphy, and became involved in the copper-making lanes of Hangzhou. Copper art began to spread to the streets again.
In the 1980s, the spring breeze of reform swept across China. "Zhu's bronze sculptures" were passed to the hands of Zhu Deyuan's eldest son, Zhu Bingren, who became the fourth generation inheritor. Starting from making bronze medals with bronze characters, Rediscover and recreate the lost bronze carving skills of "Zhu Mansion Copper Art" and develop it into "a unique art in Hangzhou" and "a unique art in China".

Reform and opening up has brought new vitality to the art of bronze sculpture. Zhu Bingren, the descendant of "Zhu Mansion Copper Art", has ushered in an excellent opportunity to restore and develop "Zhu Mansion Copper Art". Zhu Bingren created a new brand of "Zhu Bingren" bronze sculptures, developed 62 national patented technologies for bronze sculptures, and used modern technology to build Hangzhou Leifeng Pagoda, Guilin Bronze Pagoda, Changzhou Tianning Temple Pagoda, Lingyin Bronze Hall, Qianwang There are more than 30 large-scale "Chinese contemporary copper architectural art" projects such as the Tongxian Hall of the Ancestral Temple, the Pedestrian Bronze Bridge in Shaoxing, Wuhan Qintai Grand Theater, the Golden Summit Bronze Hall of Mount Emei in Sichuan, and the Patriarch Temple of Jinling Temple in Taiwan.
