How did Grandpa Qi Baishi paint hard when he was a child? What inspiration did you get from it?
Qi Baishi is good at painting flowers, birds, insects, fish and landscape figures. His pen and ink are vigorous and moist, with rich and bright colors, concise and vivid shapes and simple artistic conception. Fish, shrimp, worms and crabs are full of fun. His calligrapher, Zhuan Lishu, took inscriptions from Qin and Han Dynasties, and his calligraphy spared Gu Zhuo's interest. His seal cutting has become his own style, and he can also write poems and essays. Anyone with great talent will achieve great achievements, not overnight. Qi Baishi's calligraphy and painting have reached the pinnacle, so his experience in painting practice has inspired me that people can't be all-rounders. Whoever has a skill should not give up his ideal for success and strive to realize his ambition.
