Yin Shi's related comments

Is history a distant memory? Yet it is so close to us. Here, the author does not describe history in a broad sense, but begins with the famous painter Yin Shizhu.

When you see the vast sea of bamboo or a few green bamboos painted by Mr. Yin Shi, it seems that you can see the elegant and wild "seven sages of bamboo forest" in Jin Dynasty in a lush bamboo garden: they either drink and whistle, or play the piano and sing poems, or point out mountains and rivers, and even vaguely see the great calligraphers Wang Huizhi and Su Dongpo who can't live without bamboo forest all day long. When we saw Yin Shi's rich and vivid paintings with bamboo as the theme, you seemed to touch the hearts of ancient intellectuals in China. The bamboo forest he painted opened the spiritual world of ancient social elites for us.

Why does the painter Yin Shi have a soft spot for painting bamboo? Is there any help from God ... It turns out that Yin Shi's home in Nanjing has been closed. He often walked along the path taken by Gong Xian, the leader of the "Eight Families of Jinling" three hundred years ago, strolled in the cool foothills, and boarded the Sweeping Leaf Building, where he could see the lush bamboo forests at the foot of the mountain. He has an unusual observation and research on the image and habits of bamboo, even the modality of spring, summer, autumn and winter, rain and snow, moon dew and wind and frost.
