Correct training method of hanging elbow calligraphy

To learn to hang your elbow, practice hanging your wrist first. Beginners will encounter the problem that their hands will tremble, so they must study hard and persevere. There are two ways:

First, keep a reasonable distance. Generally speaking, you need to leave the table about 12 cm when you practice hanging your elbow to write calligraphy, which can ensure that your writing posture is not tired and achieve the purpose of writing calmly.

Second, use appropriate force. When writing, you should use the strength of your arm to write, which is about one tenth of your whole body's strength, so as to ensure the moderate use of the pen and the writing effect.

Third, master the correct pen holding posture. The grip method of hanging the elbow to write calligraphy is different from that of sitting on the pen, so the thumb must be close to the pen to prevent it from falling off.

When we are practicing brush calligraphy, in the primary stage, because we are completely unfamiliar with the performance of the brush, we can first write two or three inches long regular script by hanging our wrists. After a period of practice, we have a little grasp of brushwork, and our hands are getting used to it, so we can practice hanging our elbows.

Of course, suddenly all the arms are suspended, and there will be some difficulties at first, and my hands will be sore. As long as you insist, it will be solved.

Fast is a week, slow is a month. If you are afraid of pain at first, or see that your handwriting is not as good as when your wrist is resting, and put your arm back on the table, it is likely that your arm will never hang up.
