Primary and secondary schools mainly carry out calligraphy education through related courses and activities. Chinese courses in compulsory education should be taught in accordance with the requirements of curriculum standards, and Chinese courses in grades three to six should be arranged with a calligraphy class every week.
In the compulsory education stage, various forms of calligraphy education should be carried out in combination with the characteristics of the subject. Ordinary high schools offer calligraphy-related elective courses in Chinese and other corresponding courses. Primary and secondary schools can also carry out calligraphy education in comprehensive practical activities, local courses and school-based courses.
