Calligraphy magazine held the activity of "Top 100 Calligraphy List" in 2006, which had a great response in the national calligraphy circle. Known as the "First Exhibition of Southern Calligraphy Media", it is also the largest folk calligraphy activity besides the series of activities sponsored by China Calligraphy Association. Although the original intention of this activity is to commemorate the bicentennial issue of Calligraphy magazine, it also caters to the requirements of discovering and cultivating new people in the current calligraphy circle to a great extent. Some metrics for this activity are not available in other activities. First of all, the work of the activity is very meticulous, and every contribution has been implemented. I sent postcards to thank each contributor and a collection of works. It took us more than a year to publish the top 100 works in magazines, and successively toured Jiangsu, Anhui, Zhejiang and other places to exhibit the works. At the same time, through the selection, we have a set of four copies of the top 100 series of "thousand-character text" copybooks. Therefore, the second feature of people's evaluation is that only one top 100 list attaches great importance to the details of the exhibition and has fulfilled every promise, including rejection. The success of one thing depends on countless details. Here, I would like to thank the leaders of Changshu Municipal Committee and the comrades of Changshu Painting and Calligraphy Institute for their strong support for this event. I especially want to thank Comrade Zhang Xigeng for his selfless help. Their contribution is the key to the success of our activities. Postcards, portfolios and copybooks are the trinity components of our activities, which also left a deep impression on this activity.
