1. Traditional Chinese characters mean that Chinese characters with more strokes are replaced by simplified Chinese characters. The latest specification is the General Specification Chinese Characters List, which is one of the annexes to the Specification of Traditional Chinese Characters and Variants promulgated and implemented by the State Council on June 5, 20 13.
