How to draw the oil painting photos made by the studio?

1, select a theme.

Novices can choose photos or pictures with high definition and no color cast to copy. Those who have a sketching foundation can draw real objects, starting with simple still life.

2. Prepare to draw lots.

Professional painters will choose to stretch the canvas (usually linen) on the board with their nails. When nailing, it should not be too tight. Leave some elasticity for the cloth, and of course it should not be too loose, otherwise the painting will wrinkle easily. You don't need to stretch the canvas at first, you can buy ready-made picture frames with stretched cloth. However, the foundation of that framework is not good. You need to treat it, apply several layers of white latex evenly, and remember to polish it when it is dry. Then, you should also remember to polish it. Don't use too thick sandpaper. It is recommended to use the base of Newton in Windsor, Tianjin. The quality of Mali is not as good as before. It doesn't need to be thick every time, but it should be uniform.

Generally speaking, you can use oil painting paper to fix it on the drawing board with nails, which is very simple.

You can also draw directly on the board, but it is not easy to save and is not recommended.

As for pigments, you can buy oil painting pigments. You can usually buy a full set and add a tube of white. The white one is more expensive. To use pigments, you must buy turpentine. Turpentine is used to adjust pigments, brushes and palette. Buy more. You can buy a large glass bottle to keep, pour some into plastic bottles and carry it with you. This is a volatile substance, so be careful to seal it when storing. You can also add linseed oil, which will be better when used together.

Brush, depending on the size of the picture you want to draw, I personally think a small pen is needed. Buy a set of small pens of different sizes. Never buy a lot at once. There are six or seven branches altogether.

Step 3 start painting

After painting, I became familiar with the nature of the materials and the basis of the original painting. You can use a pencil when drafting, or you can use transparent colors, mainly brown, ultramarine and other colors that will not turn up (red, purple and other colors are too strong to dye, so they will gradually come out when drafting, so be careful when using them).

Tone matching with turpentine is equivalent to water in watercolor painting, and it is the medium for blending pigments. Then slowly increase the proportion of linseed oil. If only turpentine is used, the color is dim and the adhesion is not very good. Squeeze a little pigment on the palette first, then drop a few drops of turpentine and mix with a brush or scraper.

After that, it depends on whether you have painting skills, just like the usual painting rules.

After painting every day, you can put the remaining pigment in a plastic bottle, drop some turpentine and cover it for preservation. Wipe the palette with turpentine. I am used to cleaning, otherwise it is easy to mix colors and the painting is dirty. But this is a bit troublesome, and many people are not used to it.

As for the Baijie pen, soak it in turpentine and rinse it with clear water after the color drops. Or you can erase the paper by pressing, so that although it is not completely wiped, the oil painting pen is different from the brush used in calligraphy, and sometimes it is better to use it.
