Master Debao, formerly known as Yang Tianbao (Dharma name Debao), was born in 1959. He has been passionate about the art of calligraphy since he was a child and has been tirelessly pursuing the art of calligraphy. Later, he became the 30th generation abbot of Caodong Sect of Songshan Shaolin Temple. Elder Xigong was his teacher and was given the title De Bao. Graduated from the advanced training class of the Training Center of the Chinese Calligraphy Association. He is currently an academician of the Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Research Institute, a powerful calligrapher in China, and a member of the Henan Calligraphers Association.

For decades, I have been practicing meditation in Shaolin Temple, and have read extensively about Shaolin martial arts and Buddhist classics. Draw nutrients from calligraphy and painting from Buddhism and martial arts, and understand the Zen meaning of calligraphy and painting, both martial arts and Zen, moving and still. Based on the profound and profound concepts of Buddhism, he studied calligraphy. In the continuous artistic development, he has formed his own unique style. His calligraphy works are characterized by strong brushstrokes, strangely strong structures, unrestrained atmosphere, movement in silence, and high spirits. It can be said that it is difficult to achieve this state without the combination of Zen and martial arts.
