Taizhou Vocational and Technical College is one of the first full-time higher vocational and technical colleges in China. The school is located in Taizhou City, Jiangsu Province. The predecessor of the college can be traced back to Taizhou Medical College (later renamed Taizhou Health School) established by 1958. 1In June, 1985, three industrial bureaus merged to form Taizhou Staff University. 1March, 998, Taizhou Vocational and Technical College was established. In August 2000, Taizhou Health School was merged into Taizhou Vocational and Technical College.
