What is the origin and making method of Tingzhou noodles?

Yi Bingshou, a scholar in Qianlong period of Qing Dynasty, was born in Ninghua County, Tingzhou. When he was a magistrate in Huizhou, Guangdong and Yangzhou, Jiangsu, he was an honest official with outstanding achievements. Later, Yangzhou scholars made statues for him and enshrined them in Sanxian Temple.

According to legend, Qianlong built the "Temple of Grace" and wrote letters and plaques to his ministers. The method of making Tingzhou noodles is as follows:
