Nanchang University is a national "double-first-class" discipline plan to build a world-class discipline. The Ministry of Education and Jiangxi Province jointly build a university, which is a key university under the national "2 1 1 project" construction and a high-level university in Jiangxi Province.
The school now has humanities department, social science department, science department I, science department II, medicine department, 12 discipline 132 undergraduate majors, 3 national key (cultivation) disciplines, 22 first-class disciplines authorized by doctoral degrees, 3 categories authorized by doctoral degrees, and1postdoctoral research mobile stations. 5 1 master's degree authorized first-level discipline, 30 master's degree authorized categories.
The school has 5 directly affiliated hospitals and 9 national key clinical specialties. Eight disciplines, including chemistry, clinical medicine, agricultural science (mainly food science and engineering), engineering, materials science, pharmacology and toxicology, biology and biochemistry, molecular biology and genetics, have entered the top of ESI world rankings 1%.
Cooperation and communication:
The school attaches great importance to international education, and has established exchanges and cooperation with 170 universities and scientific research institutions in more than 40 countries (regions). The school has established Sino-German Research Institute, China-Canada Joint Laboratory of Food Science and Technology (Nanchang), International Science and Technology Cooperation Base of Food Safety, International Food Innovation Research Institute and International Material Innovation Research Institute, and jointly established the first Russian language center in Jiangxi Province with Russian universities.
