Chinese Creative Center’s planning of some cultural activities in the first half of 2014
1. Reading seminar on Zhou Jianqiu’s new novel "Father", April 12, Mingyuan Guangyan Road Sales Center Activity Room/Contemporary Art Library.
Zhou Jianqiu, a famous Chinese writer and calligrapher, was originally from Henan and first settled in Shanghai. His new novel "Father" uses family history ideas and biographical new documentary techniques to create the image of "father", using one person's life to interpret the historical vicissitudes of nearly a hundred years, with twists and turns in the plot and sincere emotions. The event will invite 10 Shanghai critics including Yang Yang, Vice Chairman of the Shanghai Writers Association, and 20 teachers and students from the Shanghai University Cultural and Creative Center for dialogue and discussion. Readers and literature lovers are welcome to participate.

2. Shen Shanzeng: "Laozi" and the true meaning of his thoughts, May 21, Activity Room/Contemporary Art Library, Sales Center, Guangyan Road, Mingyuan.
Mr. Shen Shanzeng is an influential expert and writer on Laozi and Zhuangzi in contemporary China. His monograph "Return to Laozi" is an important work on Laozi in China. This time, we asked him to share his experience in studying Laozi. He will combine Laozi's thoughts with contemporary life and give inspiring insights.
This book club focuses on dialogue and discussion, and readers are welcome to participate.

With the goal of community cultural public welfare, the Chinese Center under Mingyuan has implemented two public welfare projects: community charity bookstore donation and construction assistance and community cultural training and education. By June this year, the community charity bookstore donation and construction assistance will be Reaching 6 (www..Com), it has a large-scale current community public welfare cultural education platform "Chinese Creative Writing Network" and "Chinese Online Bookstore Online Training System".
In order to cooperate with the 20th anniversary celebration of Mingyuan Group, we will build a imitation bookstore. On the first day of the bookstore’s opening, we will hold a simple format and also hold audio-visual viewing activities for community readers.
