Meng Zijun, a native of Fengtang, Zhaimingshan, Han nationality, was born in Jingyang, Shaanxi Province on June +09/3/9, 5438. He joined the High School Attached to the Academy of Fine Arts on June +09xx, and joined the China People's Liberation Army on June+09/5/8, 5438. He is a director of China Calligraphers Association, a member of China Artists Association, a vice chairman of Gansu Calligraphers Association and a creative review committee. Mr. Wang is good at China's flower-and-bird painting. He has devoted himself to studying the works of Badashanren, Yangzhou Baguai, Wu Changshuo, Qi Baishi and Pan Tianshou. He advocated painting with calligraphy, attached importance to the cultivation of pen and ink, and made the painting concise and vivid. His works are hearty, and he especially likes to paint with chicken feathers. His works are full of bones, vigorous and powerful, and his pen and ink are bold and unrestrained, forming his own unique artistic style.
