Yikang, formerly known as Niu Yinglai. Male, Han nationality, born in Zhengzhou, Henan Province, 1953, is a famous calligrapher in China, an academician of China Calligraphy Research Institute, a director of China Cultural Artists Association, a member of China Calligraphers Association, and the founder of luminous calligraphy in China. Yikang studied calligraphy since childhood, especially in cursive script. His calligraphy is smart and elegant, bold and unrestrained, with a clear outline, which makes a bold innovation in China traditional calligraphy.
His most famous calligraphy works are "Winning thousands of miles away from Cangshan, strategizing in the world" and "Sincerity in the world", which are collected by the Russian National Museum.
