My ideal retirement life must have at least the following elements:
1. The city where you retire is very important, preferably a city where retired elderly people gather. All facilities suitable for retired people are complete. At the same time, this city needs to have universities. Only with universities can there be young people, and it will not be a lifeless city. So Victoria, the city where I live now, is very suitable. It is the first choice city for retired people in Canada. It has three universities, has various security facilities for the elderly, and has the vitality of young people.
2. An ideal retirement life should have a house of your own. The house should preferably have a yard. For details on what kind of house is most suitable, you can read my previous article.
3. An ideal retirement life must have your own job. This job does not take too much time. It is best to have a job that allows you to be respected by others and achieve self-realization.
4. The ideal retirement life is to sleep until you wake up naturally every day, have enough time to rest every day, take a nap, walk around, and plant flowers and vegetables. No more blood injections, very relaxing. Whenever you want to travel somewhere, just go and there is no need to worry about time.
5. The ideal retirement life is with your family, not alone.
6. The ideal retirement life is to retire in good health.
This is actually the highest level of Maslow's hierarchy of needs.
