Song Zhenzong.
In the eighth year of Xiangfu in the Northern Song Dynasty (AD 1015), Emperor Zhenzong of the Song Dynasty summoned Changzhou Shi of Yuelu Mountain and gave him the four-character inscription "Yuelu Academy" on his forehead. Later, through the Southern Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties, until the end of the Qing Dynasty in the 29th year of Guangxu (AD 1903), Yuelu Academy merged with Hunan Provincial City University Hall and was restructured into Hunan College of Higher Education, using the old site of the academy. In the 15th year of the Republic of China (1926 AD), Hunan College of Higher Education was officially named Hunan University, and it is still expanding on the base of the college to this day.
