Four methods of circle annotation:
1. Words: Use horizontal lines if you cannot understand them, use frames if you think they are well used.
2. Use wavy lines for key statements (or well-written statements).
3. If you have any questions, use brackets and question marks.
4. Use double vertical lines and single vertical lines to divide article levels.
Underlining and annotating are one of the methods that must be mastered in learning Chinese. This method has been favored by scholars since ancient times. Reading and writing can help memorize and accumulate information. In particular, it can deepen understanding and thoroughly grasp the essence of the book. The so-called underlining refers to using some relatively fixed simple symbols to mark words, words, sentences, and paragraphs during the reading process. Currently, circled and outlined symbols are not as fixed and uniform as punctuation marks.
Several common symbols:
1. Circle: Use circles to encircle all words, sentences and even paragraphs.
2. Dot mark: refers to adding a black dot, small circle or small triangle symbol under the word.
3. Checkmark: Use checkmarks to highlight the content or add content.
4. Line number: mainly refers to drawing horizontal lines or wavy lines.
5. Other symbols: For example, use "∥" to indicate the rhythm of recitation, pauses or paragraph levels; use "?" to indicate questions; use "*" to indicate key points to note, etc.
