The outer columns of Xi'an Metro Station are 3.8 meters high and 0.41 meters wide. The color is gray-blue, which is derived from the mineral colors commonly used in the painting art of the Tang Dynasty. It is roughly divided into four parts from top to bottom. The top of the column outside the station is the Xi'an Metro logo; the middle is the station name in calligraphy, which is composed of calligraphy and station name symbols; the middle is the station logo and the first and last train times; the lower part is the longitudinal route map. The bottom of the columns outside the station has a laser-cut decorative texture. The functions of the front facade are clearly divided. The side is an "S" curve shape evolved from Tai Chi patterns and fringes, integrating the four parts of the front into one.
The basic shape of the Xi'an subway guide sign is taken from the basic building component "tile". The prototype of the tile is artistically processed, simplified and sublimated to form the side shape "U" of the Xi'an subway guide sign. Xi'an Metro's guide signs are set up 500 meters outside the station with the subway station as the center and within a radius of 500 meters. They are mainly set up at road intersections, sidewalks, important building exits and other places with a large flow of people. Its function is to guide the direction to the entrance and exit of the subway station, making it easier for passengers to take the subway and reach their destination more quickly. The guide outside the station marks the names of nearby subway stations and incorporates traditional patterns.
