1, ancient furnace
Jia Pingwa's novel works, the content of which is mainly the experience of Jia Pingwa's youth, have the nature of recollection. The story happened in a village called "Ancient Furnace" in Shaanxi. This is a remote, closed and traditional place, but this tranquility has been turbulent since the winter of 1965.
Under the catalysis of various factors, almost everyone in Gulu village was forced to take part in a massive movement. Time has been developing until the spring of 1967. A village with beautiful mountains and rivers, in the illusory and concrete interests of "politics", has evolved into a ruin full of suspicion, confrontation and the combination of fists and feet.
The ancient furnace village burning porcelain is located in a remote place, where the mountains and rivers are clear, there are many kinds of trees, wild animals are active, and six animals are prosperous. Although people are hardworking and good at machinery, they are extremely poor. When I put the novel on the ancient stove, I remembered many things that Jia Pingwa experienced when he was a child, because most of this book was his memory.
2. Qin opera
Shaanxi Opera is Jia Pingwa's 12 novel. The first edition of Shaanxi Opera was published in April 2005 and won the 7th Mao Dun Literature Prize.
The content involves the story of his hometown Dihua Town, Danfeng County, Shaanxi Province. With delicate and plain language and "intensive and fleeting brushwork", the works intensively express the profound changes in rural values and interpersonal relationships under the traditional pattern of reform and opening up.
Between the lines, I devoted myself to the nostalgia for my hometown and thinking about the current situation in rural areas during the social transformation period. Most people and things in the book have prototypes. Jia Pingwa said, "I want to erect a monument with it as my hometown."
