What is the function of Wen Yuan Pavilion in Shenyang Forbidden City?

Wenshui Pavilion was built in the forty-seventh year of Qianlong (1782), and is dedicated to the collection of Sikuquanshu. It is the same as the attic where the other six manuscripts of Sikuquanshu are collected —— Wen Yuan Pavilion in the Forbidden City, Wen Yuan Pavilion in Yuanmingyuan, Jinwen Pavilion in Jehol Palace, Wen Hui Pavilion in Yangzhou, Wenqing Pavilion in Zhenjiang and Wen Lan Pavilion in Hangzhou, all of which are modeled after Fan Qin, a Ningbo bibliophile in Ming Dynasty. At present, the other six museums have been destroyed by war or lost books, and only the books preserved in Wenshui Pavilion of Shenyang Forbidden City are the most complete. Wenshui Pavilion is a two-story and three-story hard mountain building. The roof is covered with black glazed tiles and edged with green. On the east side of the pavilion is the Biography of Wensui Pavilion written by Gan Long, which describes the construction of Wensui Pavilion and the collection of Siku Quanshu. Yang Xizhai and Tinghou Jiujian were the reading places of Ganlong's Eastern Expedition. There were verandahs on both sides of Jiayintang in front of the pavilion and a stage for the emperor to enjoy the opera.
