After studying calligraphy for more than a year, I'm finally going to prepare for CET-4. I'm both excited and nervous. I really want to write a good hand and become a calligrapher like a teacher in the future. But sometimes it always backfires.
I remember a time when my teacher taught me to write the word "Yong". I saw how easily the teacher wrote the word "Yong" and how well it was written. I thought: This word must be easy to write, and I don't need to spend a lot of time practicing it. I just need to write a few words casually, and I can write as well as the teacher, so I am confident. However, I found that the word "forever" is not easy to write. It consists of eight basic strokes, of which "Si" is the most difficult to write. I practiced it for dozens of times and didn't practice it well. The teacher looked at my handwriting and shook his head. I just wanted to give up, remembering that my mother told me the story of Da Vinci before. Da Vinci was a world-famous painter. When he was a child, he learned to paint by painting eggs. He painted countless eggs, even tens of thousands! But he never gave up and finally succeeded. I remembered this story and practiced it seriously.
The teacher came to my side and looked at my handwriting. My face, which had been tense all the time, suddenly smiled and touched my head and said, "Yes, your handwriting has improved a lot. You can master it completely with one more effort!" I saw the smile on the teacher's face, as if full of strength, and continued to practice.
I believe that as long as you work hard and persevere in everything, you will certainly reap the sunshine smile of others.
