Why is Preface to Lanting the first calligraphy post in China?

Preface to Lanting Collection was written by Wang Xizhi, a famous calligrapher in Jin Dynasty, at a meeting. 324 words, all repeated words are different, especially 2 1 "zhi", each with its own charm and no similarity. His calligraphy is of great artistic value and is the best running script in the world.

Li Shimin, Emperor Taizong, treasured the Preface to the Lanting Pavilion, and ordered Zhao Mo, Feng Chengsu, Yu Shinan and Chu Suiliang to copy several original copies and give them to their favorite ministers.

Later, Preface to Lanting was regarded as a rare treasure by Li Shimin, and finally died. Later generations respected the original text of Preface to Lanting Collection and named it China No.1 Calligraphy Post. Indeed, there is no dispute, and its words have also become masterpieces that have been passed down through the ages.
