Orderly management
Qinci Yangdian is the seat of the Taoist Association in Pudong New Area and the largest Taoist temple in Pudong, Shanghai. Director Ding Changyun, vice president of China Daoism Association, vice president of Shanghai Daoism Association and president of Pudong Daoism Association, is in charge of the overall work, and there are more than 2 Daoists. The temple is dedicated to the Emperor Dongyue, and the place is small and the halls are dense. At present, there is only one Dongyue Hall and the Tibetan Scripture Building, which are palace buildings, and the accessory halls on the east and west sides are rebuilt by private houses. The management organization of Taoist temple is composed of Taoist temple management Committee and various groups under the leadership of the management Committee, which implements the management method of combining tradition with modernity and establishes detailed rules and regulations. The temple activities of the whole Taoist temple are divided into religious activities group, legal logistics group, logistics group, fire safety group, personnel and finance group, preaching and reception group. The team leader is responsible for the specific affairs arrangement, implements the "assessment method and reward and punishment measures", evaluates once every quarter, and determines the year-end award by the year-end general evaluation. In the process of appraisal, first self-appraisal, then group leader's evaluation, and finally approved by the management committee, and computer credit card, collective leadership and democratic management are implemented for attendance at work. Specific provisions are made on the responsibilities, rules of procedure, institutional setup and learning system of the management organization. For example, in the study system, six provisions have been made: 1. Members of Taoist management organizations hold a democratic life study meeting every six months. 2. Taoist temples hold political studies on current affairs once a month; Taoist theoretical knowledge study is held every two weeks. 3. All staff of Taoist Temple hold a study forum once a month, and all teaching staff hold a study forum once every two months. 4. Any Taoist who should take part in the study shall not be absent without reason, and those who do not take part in the study at will shall be treated as absenteeism. 5. Taoists and workers who take part in the study must be serious, consciously abide by relevant disciplines, and actively participate in discussions and speeches. 6. This Taoist view regards learning attitude as one of the important basis for year-end assessment. In order to let the believers live a good religious life in the temple during the first day, the fifteenth day and the Father's Christmas, the temple opened the mountain gate at five o'clock in the morning to receive the believers, burn incense and worship the gods, make vegetarian noodles and provide them with breakfast and lunch, thinking everywhere what I can do for everyone. It is often said that there is no Fiona Fang without rules, and the place where people live collectively must have a system that everyone abides by. It is a powerful guarantee for their temple activities to develop orderly and constantly according to their own actual situation to establish a complete management system.
Promote learning in various forms
President Ding is a young Taoist with a lot of Taoist knowledge. Therefore, the learning atmosphere of this concept is relatively strong, and some cultural learning activities are often carried out. For example, the essay-writing activity to welcome the party's 8th birthday, the calligraphy competition for the 16th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the symposium on the World Expo and the Temple of Qin Ci Yang, the current political contest, the singing contest to welcome the 55th anniversary of the National Day, the Taoist knowledge contest and so on. Stimulate young Taoist friends' interest in learning and enthusiasm for patriotism and teaching in different forms, so as to improve their cultural knowledge level, moral cultivation and political consciousness, run educational affairs well, serve believers and serve the society. The CMC also regularly holds "Publicity Column" to publicize the Taoist temple's teaching policy and current temple affairs activities, and answer questions raised by believers. These activities are diverse and eclectic. For example, in the fourth issue of 24, the propaganda topic was "Keep pace with the times and make contributions in adaptation", and the construction of "three teams" was proposed, namely, the team of Taoist priests, the team of workers and the team of believers. Among the Taoists, we mainly focus on the study of young Taoists, and adhere to the system of "double study and one meeting", that is, once every two months, once a month, we will sit down and talk, discuss and talk around a theme or topic, go out to see, listen and inspect, and strive to be diverse, rich in content, brainstorm, constantly update our ideas, sum up our experiences, and establish various forms of publicity platforms.
Taoist temple is a window to show Taoist culture. With the deepening of reform and opening up and the further implementation of the policy of freedom of religious belief, it is not only a place for religious people to burn incense, worship God and wish for happiness, but also a base for learning traditional culture and a tourist attraction. Therefore, it is a new challenge for the teaching staff who live in temples. They should not only have the religious skills of communicating with gods, but also have the skills of contacting religious believers, and publicize religious theories and doctrines to them, so that they can have a rational understanding of Taoism as well as a perceptual understanding. This requires believers to have rich cultural knowledge and theoretical level, as well as religious cultivation and ability to cope with the world. Qinci Yangdian Taoist Temple has done a good job in this respect. It has built a scripture collection building and a library, and formulated a perfect learning management system. Every Tuesday night, experts and scholars are invited to the Taoist Temple to teach Taoist knowledge or cultural knowledge or current affairs policies, and knowledge contests are held to encourage Taoist friends to go to society to learn cultural knowledge and skills. The ceremonies pay attention to tradition, master classics and ceremonies skillfully, and have a good foundation of local people's beliefs. Another important reason is that there is a famous old and high-tech mage, Master Xue Mingde, who leads by example and teaches by example. The old man is a Taoist family. He has inherited all the traditional ceremonies, and his generation has been twenty-two. The old man has a rich knowledge of Taoism and a deep insight into the teachings of Taoism. Although he is an old man who is almost eighty years old, when he does things, his voice is loud, his words are sonorous, his gestures are strong and steady, and he is well-behaved. He paid close attention to the study of young Taoist friends. In his study, he was very strict in learning, serious and earnest, with one cavity and one rhyme, one seal and one tactic, stepping around the altar, calling for sacred and scientific documents, paying attention to tradition, preaching subjects according to the prestige, and bowing in everything. He has trained many young Taoist friends to serve as high-tech wizards in the temple. Because I can't speak Shanghainese, most of them do things that I don't understand. I can only sit in the temple during the day and follow them to find feelings. Only at night can I go to his old man's room to open a "small stove". According to the regulations, the temple eats dinner at 4: 3. He usually cooks more rice for lunch and adds boiled porridge to the rest of the cold rice at night. One day, he didn't leave the altar until after six o'clock. After dinner, I saw that he was still doing it, so I wanted to leave him alone at night. I went to his room and told him that he was very angry and said, "You are here to study, and your time is limited. Come if you want to study, so don't worry about me! My body, I know it myself! You come to study for Taoism, and I teach you for Taoism! " After hearing this, I was deeply touched. I went back to my room with embarrassment and brought Coben. He taught me according to Coben while cooking with an electric cup. After more than an hour, I forgot that he didn't eat. Maybe his old man was hungry. He said, "You should review what you learned today first, and I'm going to eat." At that time, I suddenly felt sour in my heart and very sad! How could I forget about eating? When I went to study the next night, he first apologized to me and said, "I had a bad attitude last night. Are you angry with me?" I said, "I'm afraid you're too tired. You want me to learn more. How can I be angry?"! I am very grateful to you for being old. You set an example for me. You not only taught me knowledge, but also taught me how to be a man. " Before each study, he told me to read the Keben first, and then taught me the contents and "functions" of Keyi in half Shanghainese and half Putonghua (functions, that is, the secret movements and usages that are not recorded in Keben and only known by Gao Gong exorcist, are the heart-felt stories of Gao Gong exorcist in previous dynasties or generations). When it comes to "the ethics of Gao Gong's instructions", he also taught me without reservation, and said that these were only "proud" in the past. In the process of teaching, I once again appreciate what is called "respecting morality and valuing morality"! His old man's house was very happy to see me studying hard. He read it to me word by word and wrote it back to me in some key places to tell me to memorize it. Because of the language problem, there are some things that I don't understand at once. When I ask for advice, his old man always patiently explains and writes it down on paper. His old man's house is charitable, frugal and amiable, and he is also very concerned about my life. When he sees me wearing single shoes, he asks me if I am cold or not. Do I have a habit? His serious attitude and tireless teaching touched me very much! I admire his care and dedication!
