Basic information of Wang Yong.

Influenced by his family since childhood, Wang Yong loved painting and calligraphy very much when he was a student. When I was in middle school, I often participated in the school's printmaking publicity activities, which laid the foundation for my future career in Wang Yong calligraphy and art circles. Mr. Wang was born in May 1943. When he was in middle school in 1950s, he walked to Beijing Station to visit Xu Beihong's and Qi Baishi's art exhibitions. At that time, Mr. Wang, who was 0/5 years old, had made up his mind to be a very successful artist in the future.

For decades, Mr. Wang has been obsessed with calligraphy and painting, devoted himself to research, paid attention to innovation, and learned from others. He spent some energy traveling all over the country to research the footprints of ancient poets, such as Yellow Crane Tower, Yueyang Tower, Tengwangge, Yuelu Academy, Lanting, the hometown of Wang Xizhi, Shexian County, the hometown of Li Bai, the former residence of Badashanren in Nanchang, and the Eight Eccentrics in Yangzhou. Therefore, Mr. Wang Yong's calligraphy and painting works pursue ancient methods, are informal, have natural brushwork, are deliberately innovative, have elegant and rich brushwork, are rigorous in painting style and have a wide range of subjects. Since Jiazi, Mr. Wang has deeply studied the techniques of modern famous artists, absorbed the strengths of many families, sought development through self-denial, abided by the precepts since enlightenment, and constantly improved his painting and calligraphy skills and his life value.

Between tradition and modernity, when the eastern and western cultures collided, Mr. Wang also played his own unique artistic style-photography. Mr. Wang loves art, and his hobby of photography is also his pursuit of art. During his decades of artistic career, Mr. Wang really wanted to use his pen and ink art to express the great rivers and mountains of the motherland. He thought of the mountains and rivers of China and the majestic Great Wall of Wan Li, which is the symbol of China and the pride of China people. The Great Wall of Wan Li is known as one of the seven wonders of the world. The space shuttle can only see the Egyptian pyramids and the Great Wall of China from space. Mr Wang Yong has many photos of the Great Wall. From the Old Dragon Head in Shanhaiguan to Jiayuguan, Mr. Wang drove about 100,000 kilometers by himself and inspected Jiumenkou, Baiyangyu, Qingshan Pass, Panjiakou, Jiao Shan Great Wall, xifengkou, Huangyaguan, Jinshanling, Simatai, Panlongshan, Gubeikou, Jiankou Ancient Great Wall, Mutianyu Great Wall, Huanghua City, Badaling, Zhangjiakou, Dushikou and Mashikou in western Hebei.

In Mr. Wang's mind, the Great Wall is silent music, gorgeous paintings and towering sculptures. He will present the Great Wall, a monument of civilization, to the people of the whole country through photography and his own paintings and calligraphy. Mr. Wang said: The Great Wall has made me feel infinite and made my artistic career very popular. Through my works, I am determined to publish the Great Wall Album. I joined the Great Wall Society, and feeling, studying and beautifying the Great Wall is my ultimate pursuit in life.
