I usually need to use AI in the PPT production process in the following two situations:
1. Production of calligraphy fonts
1. Find the font to be produced Calligraphy font
Log in to the dictionary website www.cidianwang.com, select calligraphy in the search box, search for the text you want to create, such as "first release", select your favorite font, right-click and save as jpg.
2. Vectorize the jpg font image
Drag the downloaded font into AI, trace and expand the image in AI, use the magic wand tool to select the white area and delete the excess part .
Since the edges of the image obtained after image tracing-expansion are relatively smooth and do not have the touch of a brush, we can use "Open Brush Library - Artistic Effects - Artistic Effects_Chalk Charcoal Pencil" in the brush expansion menu. , choose a more suitable brush stroke among them.
Select the entire word, Object-Expand Appearance, and then use Pathfinder-Unit to combine the previous strokes into the font.
3. Finally, you can download some splash materials and put them into the strokes of the characters, and the calligraphy font is completed.
4. Import the created calligraphy fonts into PS to make some effects or textures, save them in PNG format, and then you can use them as materials in PPT.
2. PPT animation production
When you want to create an MG-like animation in PPT, you need to download the AI ??source file material for processing. Here we use the "electric fan rotating" animation Let’s explain with an example.
1. Search for relevant materials on Qiantu.com or freepik.com and download source files in .ai or .eps format.
2. Open the source file in AI, select all to copy, and paste selectively in PPT - Paste as picture (enhanced metafile)
3. Select and paste into PPT For a picture, execute Ctrl+Shift+G to convert it into a Microsoft Office graphic object, and execute Ctrl+Shift+G again to obtain multiple components that can be edited individually.
4. Select the middle fan blade part and perform Ctrl+G grouping, add a gyro animation, and you can create an MG animation of the fan rotating.
3. Map materials are often needed in PPT. Download the map AI source file and operate in the same way to get map materials that can be edited separately for each region. ?
