What is gratifying is that culture is an important component of comprehensive national strength. Our party and government are paying more and more attention to it and continuously launching major initiatives. Not only are Chinese people paying more and more attention to traditional culture and Chinese studies, but there are also waves of respecting and spreading Chinese culture around the world. And as some Fang scholars said, in studying Chinese studies and Guangda Chinese studies in today's era, one must not understand Zhang Boju and must learn from Zhang Boju. If the reprint of my work can help my husband to maintain his high morale and perpetuate his ambition from generation to generation, and let the later generations "know that there are such great and wonderful people in this world, they will bring blessings to the world forever"; if it can allow me to realize the dream that I have cherished for a long time - to contribute to Chinese culture. I am very fortunate to have done my little bit to contribute to its inheritance and revival. The writing and publication of my work has also become an indispensable medium, linking me to many famous scholars and scholars of the Fang family. I was fortunate enough to stay at Mr. Pan Su's home in Houhainan, where he had heart-to-heart conversations and night conversations around the fire. The memory of Mr. Boju will remain fresh forever. I visited Mr. Liu Haisu twice at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse, and he was filled with tears. The passionate narrative is full of remembrance and admiration for Mr. Boju. After the publication of my humble work, it passed into the hands of 97-year-old Hai Lao from Hong Kong. After flipping through it, he wrote the words "Release and return to increase beauty" on the title page of the book with hands that were trembling with excitement, and entrusted it to the author as a gift. Xiao Lao (Zhong Mei) listened to Xiao Lao (Zhong Mei)'s study with walls piled with books and scrolls as he talked about his friendship with Mr. Boju as a close friend; when he visited Mr. Zhou Ruchang's home in Hongmiao Beili, he looked attentive and talked eloquently. From the age-old conversation with Zhang Boju to the study of poetry and red studies, from life experiences to character and temperament, the respect is beyond words, and the eloquent preface to the book is full of deep feelings in memory of the teacher, which is heart-warming. After that, he wrote several times through letters. Mr. Zhou not only encouraged the author a lot, but also gave profound expressions on the ways of learning, being a person, and writing. Mr. Qi Gong personally gave him a calligraphy treasure and inscribed the title of the book. Mr. Luo Jizhu sent several letters with correct comments. ...Mr.'s style is as high as the mountains and as long as the rivers. From Mr. Zhang Boju and the generations of national cultural elites he influenced, I feel the breadth, depth and longevity of Chinese culture.
The world is changing suddenly and there are countless opportunities. I think back then, when my work was published by Jilin People's Publishing House 17 years ago, Mr. Pan Su was still alive. At that time, Mr. Pan held up his reading and writing, and said with tears in his eyes that this was a commemoration of the 10th anniversary of Boju's death and a consolation for his life. When it is reprinted today, Pan Su, Liu Haisu, Xiao Lao, Qi Gong... a generation of great masters and masters suddenly returned to Daoshan, which makes people feel infinite sadness. I hope that the reprint of this book can bring comfort to the ancestors and those who come after us, and it can become a source of respect for the culture and the admiration of those who have contributed to the national culture, and finally have a little place to rest on.
