Introduction of famous pavilions in ancient China
Lanting: It is located at the foot of Zhushan Mountain in the southwest of Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province. It is said that Gou Jian, the King of Yue, planted orchids here in the late Spring and Autumn Period, hence the name. In the ninth year of Yonghe, Wang Xizhi, a calligrapher of the Eastern Jin Dynasty, invited 41 celebrities, including Xie An, to drink and compose poems here, and Xizhi improvised the world-famous Preface to Lanting Collection, which became the pinnacle of China's calligraphy art; Liushang Pavilion: It was built to commemorate the activity of "meandering water flowing". The plaque "Liushang Pavilion" on the pavilion was inscribed by Li Shutang, the satrap of Guangxu Jiangxia. Liushang Pavilion and Lanting are equally famous in the world, and the scenery is beautiful. Chenxiang Pavilion: It was built in Xingqing Park, Xi 'an City, Shaanxi Province in the second year of Tang Kaiyuan. It was specially designed for Li Longji, Emperor Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty, and Yang Yuhuan, the imperial concubine, to enjoy the peony. The pavilion was built in thymelaeaceae, hence the name "Chenxiang Pavilion". Zuiweng Pavilion: It was built in Langya Temple at the foot of Langya Mountain in the southwest of Chuzhou City, Anhui Province in the sixth year of the Northern Song Dynasty. When Ouyang Xiu, a writer of the Song Dynasty, was exiled to Chuzhou as a satrap, he often came to the pavilion to drink and compose poems, so he was named Zuiweng Pavilion, and wrote the famous book Zuiweng Pavilion. Canglang Pavilion: In Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, Su Shunqin, a poet of the Northern Song Dynasty, abandoned his official residence in Suzhou and bought this old garden. He felt that the song "The water of Canglang is clear and clear, and you can admire me" in Mencius Li Lou. The water in the surging waves is turbid, which means that it can satisfy my feet and build a "surging pavilion" beside the water.
