Peach Blossom Creek is a landscape poem written by Zhang Xu, a calligrapher and poet in Tang Dynasty. The anthologies of Tang poetry in Ming and Qing Dynasties are all titled Peach Blossom Creek, which is believed to be written by Zhang Xu in Tang Dynasty and written in the prosperous Tang Dynasty.
Among Cai Duan Ji compiled by the king of Southern Song Dynasty, A Du Nan Jian has the same content as Peach Blossom Creek. Mo Lifeng thought it was the work of Cai Xiang in the Song Dynasty in the article "Is there a Song in 300 Tang Poems?". Li Dingguang thinks that Mo Lifeng's statement cannot be established, and the copyright of Peach Blossom Creek belongs to Zhang Xu.

This poem expresses the author's longing for a paradise and the pursuit of a better life through the description of the beautiful scenery of Taohuaxi and the inquiry of fishermen. Taohuaxi is at the foot of Taoyuan Mountain in Taoyuan County, Hunan Province. There are many peach forests on the bank of the stream. In late spring, trees are colorful and streams are gurgling.
According to legend, Tao Yuanming's Peach Blossom Garden in the Eastern Jin Dynasty is located here. The Peach Blossom Creek described by Zhang Xu does not necessarily mean here, but implicitly uses its artistic conception. This poem is graceful in conception, profound in taste and rich in painting. The faint flying bridge is separated by wild smoke, and the pen end is fascinating: the mountains and rivers are deep and the clouds are lingering.
