Blow-molded paper printmaking course

1. Preparation materials: blow-molded cardboard, black double-sided cardboard, long tail clip, pencil, gouache pigment, palette and gel pen

2. Manufacturing steps

A.? First, draw a draft on the blow-molding board with a black gel pen. If it is wrong, you can wipe it with a wet tissue to modify it.

b.? After the line draft is finalized, trace it again with a pencil, and trace it gently, so as not to damage the blow-molded board.

c.? Then use two long tail clips to clamp the black cardboard on the blow-molded cardboard. Note that the long tail clip is clamped on the same side.

d.? Using the method of partial coloring, the gouache for blow-molded paperboard is colored, and then the black paperboard is closed and printed. (Be careful not to make gouache too thin, otherwise it will easily fall into the groove of the line draft.)

E. Print the color of the upper part, and finally finish the work.

Blow-molded cardboard painting is to draw on blow-molded paper first and outline the contents to be drawn. In this way, there are grooves on the blow-molded paper, and then the pigment you want to use is painted on the picture on the blow-molded paper. In fact, just like painting on paper in peacetime, the blow-molded paper is covered on the paper and printed. The backing paper can be any color, and patterned paper is better. Generally, dark cardboard is used.

In this way, there are no edges in the rubbings, instead, it is the color of cardboard, just like color lines.
