Henan Nie Qingyuan, male, named Lengbing, nicknamed Haiyang, was born in 1941, with a college degree and a native of Song County, Henan. He is the vice president of the Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Association and a lay Buddhist of the Shaolin Temple of the Chinese Buddhist Association. He is a member of the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Art Research Institute, a member of the Luoyang Calligraphers Association, the executive director of the Sino-Korean Cultural Exchange Promotion Association in Luoyang, China, and the president of the Luoyang Heming Jiugao Painting and Calligraphy Academy.
