Brief introduction of Jinshan Temple in Qingyun Island, Shandong Province
Qingyun County is located in Bohai Economic Zone in the north of Shandong Province, with a total area of 502 square kilometers and a population of 300,000. Qingyun is rich in products and simple in folk customs. The Jinshan Temple in history was built in the Sui Dynasty and destroyed in the Ming Dynasty. According to legend, Xuanzang, a monk in the Tang Dynasty, became a monk here when he was a child. The legend of Jinshan Temple on the island has a long history in Qingyun. The story is beautiful and the plot is moving. Harashima Jinshan Temple is located in the west of Fenshuiwang Village, Qingyun County. It is said that the temple is large in scale, covering an area of 1000 mu. It is said that it is a donkey-riding gate. According to legend, the Tang Priest grew up in this temple and became a monk. Xuanzang was born in Henan, was born in an official family, and was born in Chang 'an. According to the anecdote in the Annals of Qingyun County compiled in the third year of the Republic of China, the Sui Dynasty and his wife Yin Mantang went to Wudi County (now Qingyun is in the north of Jiadian Village-Wudi Old Town), passing through Qingyun Zhimen Liucun and crossing the river by boat. When the water thief met Yin, he had evil intentions. The ship went deep into the river, pushed Chen Guangrui into the river and drowned. At that time, Yin was pregnant. After the child was born, Liu Hong wanted to harm again. Yin sewed a piece of cloth with a story on the child's chest, then hid the child in a wooden box and sneaked it into the river. The wooden box floated downstream to Jinshan Temple and was found and rescued by monks in the temple. Soon after, Yin committed suicide. Elder Faming first entrusted his children to the nearby Kangjia Village (the village was originally located in the northwest corner of Taojia Village in Qingyun Town, but now it no longer exists), and then returned to the temple, commonly known as monk Liu Hai, which was later the Tang Priest. The artist compiled this story into a drama "Listening to the Door", "Yin Mantang's Complaints" or a storytelling passage, which has been passed down to this day. In 2003, Qi Shuping, a disciple of Kong Jing exorcist, one of the top ten exorcists in the world, raised 350 million yuan to rebuild the ancient temple, making the scenery in the temple reappear. Jinshan Temple on the island now covers an area of nearly 300 mu. The newly-built Tianwang Hall, Daxiong Hall, Buddha Hall, Bell Tower, Drum Tower and Tibetan Classics Pavilion are magnificent. The huge bronze bell stretches for dozens of miles in Fiona Fang, and the Buddha statues in the Heavenly King Hall and the Ursa Major Hall are resplendent. After the Buddhist scripture building under construction is completed, Jinshan Temple on the island will be the largest Buddhist temple in the area north of the Yellow River and south of Beijing and Tianjin.
