Huang Shen (1687 ~ 1768) was born in Ninghua (present-day Fujian), with the name Gong Shou and Ying Piao Zi, and was born in Buyi, Donghai, and Ying Piao Shan. Living in Yangzhou and selling paintings for a living is one of the "Eight Eccentrics of Yangzhou". Huang Shen's calligraphy originated in Cao Zhang, and his own interest in calligraphy was integrated, giving people a crazy and difficult feeling. Among Yangzhou calligraphers in the mid-Qing Dynasty, Huang Shen's calligraphy is quite individual. Calligraphy stippling, strange and ancient words, strange and ancient words, scattered and orderly, freely folded and unconventional, shows a strong calligraphy personality.
