2. Zhu Liping, male, born in October 1938, Haining County, Zhejiang Province people. Professor at the Institute of Basic Medical Sciences, Academy of Medical Sciences and Peking Union Medical College of China, and director of the research office. The direction of immunology teaching and research is the cloning and function of human lymphocyte differentiation antigen genes. Several human cDNAs have been cloned and registered in GenBank. One of the cDNAs encodes an α-mannosidase. In view of the important biological significance of protein glycosylation, and given that α-mannosidase is an important enzyme in glycosylation, sense and antisense expression vectors of this cDNA have been constructed to infect tumor cells, and it was observed that infecting antisense cDNA, the malignant biological behavior of tumor cells is inhibited. In addition, its sense and antisense cDNA has been infected into human B lymphocytes to study the impact of α-mannosidase expression on B cell function. He has published more than one hundred academic papers in domestic and foreign magazines. His works include "Proliferation and Differentiation of Human B Lymphocytes", "Dictionary of Modern Immunology" (translated), and "Rheumatology". Among them, "Rheumatology" was nominated for the 1997 National Book Award.
